Welcome to Biblely. By using the app, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
Biblely is a faith, fitness, and productivity companion app for iPhone. It provides the following features:
The app is free of charge. There are no subscriptions, in-app purchases, or ads. Referring friends can unlock cosmetic extras (share card backgrounds, extra reading voices, and some themes and animations). No payment is ever involved.
Biblely has no social features. There is no feed, friends list, messaging between users, or leaderboard, and nothing you create is shown to other users.
You must be at least 13 years of age to use Biblely, or older if the law where you live sets a higher age for consenting to data processing. By using the app, you represent that you meet this minimum age. If you are under 18, you represent that you have your parent's or legal guardian's permission to use the app.
An account with a valid email address is required to use Biblely. Features that use outside AI services (chat, scoring, generation, voice input, cloud reading voices), the referral system, custom profile photos and two-factor sign-in additionally require a verified email address. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity under your account.
You agree not to:
You keep ownership of everything you create in the app (prayers, prayer boards, journal entries, notes, tasks, visions, habits, reminders, workouts, food logs, and chat messages). Your content is private to your account and is not displayed to other users. You can edit or delete your content at any time, and deleting your account removes it from our servers.
We do not read or review your content. Two automated checks apply: usernames, display names, and text you add to calendar tasks are filtered for profanity, and custom profile photos are scanned by Google Gemini for inappropriate content (nudity, violence, hate symbols, and similar) before being accepted. Rejected photos are not stored. You get three attempts. After a third rejected photo, and after each accepted upload, you cannot upload another custom photo until the following day (the cooldown ends at midnight). We reserve the right to remove a profile photo, or to restrict or suspend an account, if we determine that it breaks these terms.
Bible translations in the app are provided for personal, non-commercial use only. Different translations have different copyright holders and usage terms; see the translation copyright notices in the app's Legal section. You may not redistribute, sell, or commercially use Bible text obtained through the app. Quiz questions, timeline content, character profiles, and map data are provided for educational and personal reflection purposes.
Biblely uses outside AI services to generate some content. Text is generated by one of Groq, Cerebras, SambaNova, DeepSeek, OpenRouter, Mistral AI, or Google Gemini, chosen automatically based on availability. Photos are analysed by Google Gemini. Voice input is transcribed by Groq, Mistral AI, Google Gemini, or Google Cloud Speech-to-Text. Automatically generated content includes, but is not limited to:
The app also calculates physique scores and body composition estimates (BMI, body fat, muscle mass, visceral fat, body water, body age) on your device using published formulas. These are automated estimates, not measurements.
Automatically generated content may contain errors, inaccuracies, or omissions. Do not rely on it alone for important decisions about your health, diet, fitness, or spiritual life. Verify information with qualified professionals where appropriate.
Verse explanations, study notes, quiz explanations, character profiles, timeline descriptions, and other interpretive content in the app are intended for personal reflection and educational purposes only. Some of this content is prepared in advance and some is generated by the AI services above. It does not constitute pastoral counselling, theological advice, or doctrinal instruction. We encourage you to check interpretive content with trusted spiritual leaders, pastors, or qualified theologians. Biblely is not a substitute for church fellowship, pastoral guidance, or professional spiritual counselling.
Biblely provides workout tracking, nutrition tracking, physique scoring, and body composition estimates for informational and wellness purposes only. These features are not medical advice and are not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Body composition estimates come from formulas and may differ from clinical measurements. The app does not connect to scales or to Apple Health; weigh-ins are typed in by you.
Nutrition plans, workout plans, calorie estimates from food photos, physique coaching, and Coach chat replies are generated by outside AI services and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for your circumstances. Nutritional estimates from photos are approximations and can differ a lot from actual values. Do not rely on them for medical dietary requirements.
Physique scores and muscle group ratings are calculated from the workouts you log and are meant to help you track relative progress over time. They are not clinical assessments and do not reflect actual muscle size, strength, or medical condition.
Exercise tutorial links open YouTube videos made by third-party creators. We do not produce, verify, or endorse those videos. Always use proper form and consult a qualified fitness professional if you are unsure about technique.
The Habits feature, including the Emergency screen and relapse journaling, is a self-help tool and not a medical or mental health service. If you are in crisis, contact local emergency services or a qualified professional.
Always consult a healthcare professional before making significant changes to your diet or exercise routine, especially if you have any pre-existing medical conditions, allergies, or dietary restrictions.
Biblely relies on third-party services to deliver its features. By using the app, you acknowledge and agree to the terms of the following services as applicable:
We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or policies of third-party services. Your use of them is subject to their own terms of service and privacy policies. See our Privacy Policy for what is sent to each service.
The app, its design, code, graphics, themes, and non-Bible content are owned by Biblely. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer the app or its components.
You may delete your account at any time through Settings > Delete Account. This removes your cloud data, stored images, and iCloud backup, and clears the app's data on your device. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Upon termination, your data will be permanently deleted from our servers.
The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the app. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service, and outside services we rely on may change or become unavailable.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Biblely, its developer, and any affiliates from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in connection with: (a) your use of the app; (b) your violation of these Terms of Service; (c) your violation of any rights of another person or entity; or (d) any content you submit through the app.
If you have a problem with the app, please contact us first at the email below so we can try to sort it out informally. Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms of Service or your use of the app that we cannot resolve that way will be dealt with by the courts of England and Wales.
If you live in another country, nothing in this section removes rights you have as a consumer under the mandatory laws of that country, including any right to bring a claim in your own local courts.
Either party may seek injunctive or other equitable relief in any court of competent jurisdiction to prevent the actual or threatened infringement of intellectual property rights.
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. We will notify you of significant changes through the app.
These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. If you live in another country, you also keep the protection of any mandatory consumer laws there.
If any provision of these Terms of Service is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. The invalid or unenforceable provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable while preserving its original intent.
These Terms of Service, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Biblely regarding your use of the app. These terms supersede any prior agreements, communications, or understandings, whether written or oral, relating to the subject matter herein.
